Library of Congress Mobile Web is clean look and well-designed. Almost all contents in web are available in mobile web as well. Most images are informative and small enough to be loaded on mobile. "skip navigation" button at the top is useful because it allows users to skip the long lines of menu part and go directly to contents. Some improvement that I am expecting is as follows.
- Page Logo: There is no indication of page title despite the main page of the site. Locating library of congress logo at the top is desirable.
- To top button: There is no link to go to top of the page at the middle or bottom of page. Scrolling up and down in the mobile web isn't easy task.
- Flash Interactive Menu: Locating Flash menu in mobile web isn't desirable because of its heavy loading and incomplete functionality. Replacing into meaningful image is expecting.
- Low Contrast: The contrast of the text color and background color is low. Gray and light-blue text isn't visible on sunny outside.
